Be Careful What You Wish For…

screen-shot-2016-11-14-at-2-14-11-pmLast week, during a Twitter chat with Snapchat enthusiasts, I mentioned that I’d like to interview Krampus, Santa and Rudolph’s elf friend who wanted to be an orthodontist (actually it’s a dentist, but I digress…)

Less than sixty seconds later, I learned that Krampus is watching me!

Since I’m already on his watch list, I’ll definitely interview him first. And, for social friends and followers who want to join me for the interview, I’m collecting questions to ask him so you can be part of the story – if you dare!

You can share yours with me via a Snapchat message or a tweet to me @Amanda_Ray #AmandaAskKrampus.

When’s the Interview?
I’m still working on getting on his calendar for the interview, which I hope will be later this week. But, you never know when it comes to Santa’s evil twin. I’ll just have to wait and see when he feels like accommodating the request for a video chat.

Want to See What’s Happening First-Hand?
In the meantime, it is impossible to ignore his unique way of reminding me to shape up for the holidays… And, it’s starting to creep me out… Want to see how? Connect with me on Snapchat to follow along in real time! I’m snapping his taunts and sharing here as part of my daily story…

Who is Krampus?

Just in case you don’t feel like Googling him, Krampus is scary! Parades and events across Europe — and, yes, the states — feature many terrifying versions of the anti-Santa… He typically has horns, cloven hooves and one. Scary. Stare!

Basically, in stead of inspiring good behavior with gifts and treats, Krampus is the story that scares you into it. The legend holds that he’ll stuff you in his bag and drag you to the underworld if you’re not a good boy or girl for the holidays…

What’s Next?
Since I’m not one to shy away from a spooky story (or film), I’m looking forward to the interview. I just hope I can redeem myself before it’s too late!  Hopefully, with enough good questions (and habits for the holidays), I’ll be in good shape!
